Installing the Theme

System Requirements April 2025

Minimum Requirements:

Nginx/Apache: Versions released after 2020
PHP: Version 8.0 or higher
MySQL: Version 5.6 or higher

Recommended:

Nginx: Version 1.23.X
PHP: Version 8.2.X
MySQL: Version 8.0.X

CAUTION

Some theme-related functions rely on GD, mbstring, curl, openssl. Theme will not work or related functions will unavailable without PHP extensions listed above.

Upload and Activate the Theme

WARNING

After downloading the theme, unzip the file and rename the extracted folder to "Sakurairo". Then re-compress it into a ZIP archive.
(This step is required for versions 2.7.2 and below.)

Go to your WordPress Dashboard and click Appearance in the left-hand menu.

On the Themes page, click Add New.

On the new page, click Upload Theme.

In the upload section, choose the Sakurairo theme ZIP file to install.

After the installation completes, click Activate to enable the theme.
